Renaming a folder in Snapied is a quick and simple process. You can do this either from the Dashboard or directly from the Editor. Follow the steps below to rename your folders and keep your workspace organized.
✅ Renaming a Folder from the Dashboard
Step 1: Log in to Your Snapied Account
- Open Snapied in your browser.
- Enter your login credentials and sign in.
Step 2: Navigate to “All Files”
- On the Dashboard, click on the “All Files” option from the left sidebar.
- You will see a list of all folders displayed at the top.
Step 3: Open the Folder Options
✅ Method 1: Using Folder Options
- Double-click to open the folder you want to rename.
- Once inside, look for the three-horizontal-dot icon (⋮) located at the top-right corner.
- Click on the icon to reveal the available options.
- Select Rename from the list and type the new name for your folder.
✅ Method 2: Using Hover Menu <Simple and recommended>
- Hover your cursor over the folder you wish to rename.
- When the three-horizontal-dot icon (⋮) appears, click on it.
- Choose Rename Folder from the options and enter the new name.
Step 4: Select “Rename Folder” for Method 1
- Click on the “Rename Folder” option.
- Enter the new folder name in the text field.
- Click ✅ Rename to save the changes.
✅ Renaming a Folder from the Editor
Step 1: Open the Editor
- Open any design or project to enter the Editor.
- Look for the “My Files” section in the left sidebar.
Step 2: Locate the Folder to Rename
- Click on “My Files” to open the file manager.
- Find the folder you want to rename.
- Click on the folder name to highlight it.
Step 3: Open Rename Options
- Click on the three-horizontal-dot icon (⋮) next to the folder name.
- Select the “Rename” option from the dropdown.
Step 4: Rename the Folder
- Enter the new name for the folder.
- Press Enter or click ✅ Rename to save the changes.
